[BUNJANG] Easy Rider (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) CD / [중고음반/CD] 이지라이더 Easy Rider 영화음악 OST

### Easy Rider (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - 1969 Film

This is a CD of the soundtrack for the iconic 1969 road movie 'Easy Rider', directed by Dennis Hopper and starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

Instead of an original score, the film utilized contemporary rock music. It's said that the editor initially matched scenes to songs from his own record collection, a practice that led to significant music licensing costs.

The soundtrack features seminal tracks including Steppenwolf's 'Born to Be Wild', which plays during the opening motorcycle ride, and 'The Weight'. While The Band's original version was used in the film, a cover by Smith appears on the soundtrack due to recording contract issues, as indicated on this CD.

'Ballad of Easy Rider' was the only song created specifically for the film, with Bob Dylan contributing a verse and The Byrds' Roger McGuinn completing it. Dylan also reportedly permitted McGuinn to record 'It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)'. The album also includes 'If Six Was Nine' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and 'Kyrie Eleison Mardi Gras' by The Electric Prunes.

Originally released in 1969, the soundtrack reached #6 on the Billboard album chart.

This European import CD, distributed by BMG Ariola, features the text '℗1976 MCA Records' and 'Printed in Germany'. It also bears a Korean Ministry of Culture import approval sticker (Approval No. 96-198).

[ Easy Rider (이지 라이더) O.S.T – Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack ]

'It's alright Ma (I'm only bleeding)'는 딜런이 맥귄이 부르는 조건으로 허락했다고 알려져 있으며, 헨드릭스의 'If six was nine'과 일렉트릭 프룬스의 'Kyrie Eleison Mardi Gras'도 함께 담겨 있습니다.
