This is a 90s navy double peacoat from J. Press, a brand representing the traditional Ivy and preppy style of America, founded in New Haven in 1902.

Following the founder Jacobi Press's philosophy of creating clothes with a silhouette that suits everyone, J. Press has been producing high-quality clothing for 120 years, remaining an iconic brand.

This model is an original J. Press navy peacoat, designed based on the coat worn by British naval officers and sailors around 1850.

The thick navy body made of wool has a sexy contrast with the red diamond-quilted lining (see photo 9).

The 10-button design has a minimalist collar size and width, and when the top button on the back of the collar is fastened all the way, it wraps around the neck for warmth and various styling options (photos 5, 6).

All buttons feature an "anchor button" engraved with an "anchor" symbolizing the navy (photo 8).

Despite being over 30 years old, it is in deadstock condition with no flaws or stains.

The fit is a relaxed silhouette of preppy style, which is also good for layering, and would be great as a final outer layer.
