This is a medium-sized jar featuring a citrus motif, a piece of blue and white porcelain crafted during the late Joseon Dynasty at Bunwon-ri, a kiln managed by the government. The citrus pattern, resembling the Buddha's fingers, is a traditional motif symbolizing auspiciousness, often seen in the 19th-century Joseon white porcelain and furniture crafts. The 'Buddha (佛)' in the citrus fruit's name shares a similar pronunciation with the Chinese character for 'fortune (福)', symbolizing the wish for good fortune in both China and Korea.

The jar has a subtle, bluish-white hue with a beautiful citrus pattern. The patterns on the mouth and shoulder are typical of those found in government kilns. The base's contact surface uses a sandy base, a typical Bunwon style. It has been collected without any cleaning.

Measurements: Mouth diameter 11.6cm, Height 15cm.

Condition: Two small chips, three areas of pressure marks, otherwise generally in good condition.

조선후기 관요 분원리에서 제작한 청화백자 불수감문 중형 호입니다.
불수감무늬는 부처님의 손가락을 닮은 귤과의 열매인 불수감을 형상화한 전통 문양입니다.
19세기 조선시대 백자나 가구공예품 등에서 주로 길상의 의미를 담아 사용되었습니다. 
 불수감의 '불(佛)' 자가 복을 의미하는 한자 '복(福)'과 발음이 유사하여 중국과 한국에서는 다복을 기원하는 의미로 사용되었습니다.
전체적으로 은은한 청백을 띠며 푸른색이 감도는 불수감 문양이 아름답습니다.
구연부와 어깨의 선문도 관요에서 보이는 문양입니다.
굽의 접지면은 전형적인 분원의 양식인 모래굽을 받쳐 번조하였습니다.
때를 전혀 빼지않은 상태로 수집하였습니다.
크기는 구연부 11.6 높이 15 정도입니다.
상태는 튐2군데 지압유3군데 외
