This is a second-generation M65 field jacket, produced for a short period of five years from 1967 to 1971, following the first-generation M65 field jacket for the US Army.

This piece, dating from 1967, the year the second-generation jacket was first issued, is particularly valuable as the first of its kind.

It features details introduced in the second-generation, such as shoulder epaulettes and a silver Talon zipper. It remains in excellent condition for its nearly 60-year history.

This is a regular small, approximately 103. Actual measurements are: total length (including collar) 83 (excluding collar) 74/chest 52/shoulders 49/sleeves 62.

I fell in love with the field jacket worn by Robert De Niro throughout the film Taxi Driver, so I had it patched up at a tailor shop with a King Kong patch from Wildhogs (then priced at around 39,000 won).

Right shoulder: King Kong / Left chest: Airborne patch. Among the King Kong patches, Wildhogs (domestic) and MASH (international) are known to have the best authenticity. A white badge will be included with purchase.

Overall, it shows moderate wear. As shown in the photo, there is some dirt on the inside of the right arm. Please note that there are some loose threads here and there. This is a characteristic of mixed fabrics. Please take home this M65 jacket in good condition despite its age.

특히 2세대가 처음 보급되었던 1967년도의 제품으로 2세대의 시작이라는 가치가 있는 제품입니다.

2세대부터 도입된 어깨견장과 은색 탈론지퍼 등의 디테일들이 있으며 60년 가까이 흐른 세월대비 좋은 컨디션을 유지하고있습니다.
