미군 ECWCS 제3세대(제너레이션 3)는 7종류의 상의와 5종류의 하의로 구성된 다양한 기후와 상황에 대응하는 레이어링 시스템입니다. LEVEL7은 레이어링 최종 방한 아우터로 자리매김하고 있으며, 수납식 후드와 프론트 벨크로 디자인, 포켓 내장형 밑단 드로우코드, 엘보 패치 등 특징적인 디테일을 충실히 재현했습니다.

본 모델은 실물과 동일한 충전재 소재인 프리마로프트를 채용했습니다.
또한 표면 소재로 다수 브랜드에서 채택 중인 영국산 고기능성 패브릭인 PERTEX UNLIMITED를 사용한 모델입니다.
2025년 모델은 지난해부터 벨크로 위치를 반전했습니다.
소매 끝 벨크로 잠금 장치를 그로그란 테이프로 변경하여 실물 방출품 중에서도 유통량이 적은 초기 시제품의 디테일을 재현했습니다.
또한 지난해부터 겉감 소재를 업데이트했습니다.
실물에 가까운 평직 나일론(플레인 위브 나일론)을 재현하고 바디 컬러도 실물에 더 가까운 색상으로 재검토했습니다.

겉감에는 영국 PERTEX사가 기존 아웃도어 메이커 외에 전개하는 “PERTEX UNLIMITED(퍼텍스 언리미티드)”를 사용했습니다.
아웃도어, 밀리터리 분야에서 검증된 방수 투습 소재 등 다양한 브랜드가 잇따라 채택하는 주목받는 패브릭입니다.
더불어 충전재에는 1987년 미국에서 탄생한 충전 섬유 “PRIMALOFT(프리마로프트)”를 사용했습니다.
비에 약한 깃털의 단점을 커버하는 높은 발수성을 가지며, 천연 깃털에 버금가는 보온성과 감촉을 지닌 단열재로 널리 사용되고 있습니다.

실물 방출품은 상태가 좋은 제품이나 인기 있는 사이즈는 해마다 고갈 일로를 걷고 있습니다.
