The first full album from Highlight, "DAYDREAM."

It's a wonderful thing that we can still dream together.

I remember the time around this time a year ago. When we were preparing for a new album, it was all so exciting, as if it was the first time we were doing it. We might not have been able to, but in the end, we were able to laugh more. And in all of our places and times, there were people who loved us like a habit.

To those who first learned how to swallow tears in the dark, where even their expressions were hard to read, and to those who first said that they were okay just by looking at us, we still don't know what to say to them after 13 years. But now, we hope that that winter that came upon us will not be forgotten like a dream. At least for us now. Not because we want that time to come back, but because it is also our history and memory. If it hadn't been for that winter, we might not have been as close as we are now, and we might not have been able to get through that long time safely. Through that long and tedious winter, we learned how to endure together once again, and we now try to honor the time we have overcome together by remembering that winter.

This album, made with a heart that has grown a little more than last year, is special because it is Highlight's first full album, but more than anything, we wanted to make it because we thought they would want to hear it, and we thought they would like it. In fact, that's why we make all albums and music sources now. Because we want to add another good song with our voices to the playlist. Because we want to show a new stage. Because we want to create a time to share stories and build new times together one by one. And this is a bit selfish, but we just want to see their smiles.

Someday, we will sing songs like a habit, and they will listen to our songs like a habit. Days that are so trivial and warm, like air, where we don't even remember when that winter was. And for then, we must now learn how to dream together. Is there anything more powerless than a dream? But we will find it every time and try to do it together. Of course, it may not be the same dream. After all, we will not be able to look at the same place as them. Until the end of this sweet dream of ours, we will be looking at them, and they will be looking at us. But anyway, it's a wonderful thing that we can dream together, even now and on any day a long time from now.
