This is an authentic bowl from the Song Dynasty, produced by the Yun Yao kiln in Fujian Province, showcasing a distinctive black glaze with a turtle shell pattern (玳瑁釉). The bowl stands approximately 5cm tall with a diameter of about 11cm.

The Yun Yao (淸潤窯) kiln, active from the Song to Jin dynasties in Fujian, was renowned for its exquisite black and flower glazes. This particular piece features a dark brown glaze base characteristic of Yun Yao, adorned with scattered yellow-brown crystalline patterns that mimic the texture of a turtle's shell.
