This Moon Jar from Cheongun Pottery is well-shaped and offers a clear, resonant sound when tapped, indicating its solid and robust nature.
Dimensions:
- Height: 28 cm
- Body Diameter: 31 cm
- Opening Diameter: 14 cm
Features a hand-mark and maker's seal at the base. Despite being over 40 years old, it is in excellent condition (Grade A) with no chips or cracks.
Master potter Lee Joon-hee of Cheongun Pottery is renowned for his expertise in wood-fired kiln techniques and for training master artisans.
This is one of two Moon Jars meticulously selected and collected over a long period, waiting for a truly representative piece. Currently organizing and downsizing my collection.
