The Banner of Work (Banner der Arbeit) was an order of East Germany established on August 4, 1954, as a single class. It was awarded to individuals, work collectives, enterprises, combines, and other institutions in recognition of outstanding and long-term contributions to the strengthening and consolidation of the German Democratic Republic, particularly for achieving high labor results in the national economy.

This set includes the 3rd Class order, awarded to Horst Rosenberg, a Colonel in the East German Ministry for State Security (Stasi). The set comes complete with the medal itself, its original case, and the certificate.

노동적기(Banner der Arbeit)는 1954년 8월 4일 단일 등급으로 제정된 동독의 상훈이다. 독일민주공화국의 강화와 공고화에 있어 뛰어나고 장기간에 걸친 공로, 특히 국민경제에서 높은 노동 성과를 거둔 공로를 인정하여 개인, 노동집단, 기업, 콤비나트 및 기타 기관에 수여되었다.
