Purchased from a Japanese auction. Please note that the blade is separate.

The saya (scabbard) is made of wood as this is a koshirae. The decorative elements, though not immediately visible, are surprisingly ornate.

Condition notes: Due to frequent use, the saya is somewhat loose. It is suitable for display purposes, but for actual use, reinforcement or repair of the upper portion would be necessary. Otherwise, the item is in good condition. As it is an Edo period artifact, minor marks and signs of age are present.

Overall, the item is in clean condition.

코시라에임으로 날은 나무로 되어있습니다.
장식은 잘 보이지는 않지만 무늬도 생각보다 화려하게 되어있습니다.
하자는 칼집을 많이 사용해서 헐렁합니다. 장식으로만 하신다면 문제없지만 사용시 윗부분만 덧대던가 고치셔야 합니다.
나머지는 크게 이상없고 당연히 에도시대에 만들어진 것이니 자잘한 흔적과 세월의 흔적은 있습니다.
