Late 14th century ~ Early 15th century. This artifact appears to be from the transitional period when Goryeo celadon darkened (to a slate blue-grey hue) and patterns became standardized, leading into Buncheong ware.

It is believed to have been produced in major kiln sites such as Gangjin and Buan in Jeolla Province, or in regional kilns in the Gyeongsang Province.

The reddish surface is due to iron oxidation within the ceramic glaze, revealed by the passage of time.

Excellent condition with no glaze chips or imperfections.

14세기 후반 ~ 15세기 초. 고려 청자의 색이 어두워지고(회청색), 문양이 정형화되면서 분청사기로 넘어가는 과도기 유물로 보입니다. 전라도 강진, 부안 등 주요 가마터 혹은 경상도 지역의 지방 가마에서 주로 제작되었던 기물입니다.
붉은 표면은 도자기 유약속의 산화철이 세월감에 드러난것으로 보시면 됩니다.
