A celadon cup from the early Goryeo Dynasty.

Crafted from refined clay with meticulous finishing, this cup exhibits the quintessential celadon glaze of the Goryeo period, displaying a stable and beautiful hue without any glaze imperfections.

On the exterior, faint marks remain, suggesting an intentional, though incomplete, inscription by the artisan during the creation process.

Unlike standardized patterns or decorations, these marks lend a unique charm to the piece, evoking a Wabi-Sabi aesthetic.

Notably, this vessel was conceived and made as a cup from its inception, showcasing elegant and balanced formative beauty.
