This is a ceramic "bulgam" (a shrine for Buddha images) crafted from gray clay, glazed with "galyu," and fired at approximately 1000 degrees Celsius.

This "bulgam" has a rustic yet warm feel. Its small, portable size suggests it was likely created for personal worship or as a protective amulet.

The space for housing the Buddha image is shaped like an architectural structure. The roof, adorned with tiles, and the rear wall are decorated with extruded vine scroll patterns. The chamber for the Buddha, shaped as an arch, reflects the architectural style of the period.

Considering the overall craftsmanship, including the front and back "taecheop" (decorative elements), the oxidation of the clay and glaze, this artifact is estimated to have been produced during the Ming Dynasty. It holds significant religious and artistic value.

Notably, it possesses a distinct charm that is different from ornate gilded Buddhas, offering a simple and comfortable aesthetic.

Dimensions: Approximately 6.9 cm in height, 3.3 cm in width, and 3.1 cm in depth.

섭씨 1000도 내외로 소성한 도기 불감이다.
투박하면서도 정겨운 느낌을 주는 이 불감은
휴대하거나 이동이 가능한 작은 크기로 개인 예배용이나 호신용으로 제작되었을
개연성이 크다 하겠다.
불상을 안치 하기 위한 공간은 건축물 형태로 성형하였는데,
기와를 인 지붕의 여백은 물론 후면 벽에도
압출양각의 당초문으로 장식을 하였을 뿐만 아니라
불상을 모시는 공간인 감실을 아치 형으로 조성하여
제작 당시의 건축양식을 반영한 듯하다.
전후 태첩을 비롯한 전체적인 제작기법과 태토와 유액의 산화 정도 등을
종합적으로 볼 때, 명대(明代)에 제작된 것으로 추정되는 이 기물은
종교적, 예술적으로 적지 않은 가치를 지닌다 하겠다.
특히, 화려한 금동불과는 차원이 다른 질박하고 소탈한 매력이 있어
신선하고 편안한 느낌을 주는 기물이라 하겠다.
크기는 높이 약 6.9, 가로*세로 3.3*3.1 cm이고
상태는 유수리 없이 완전하다.
