A rare Hexagonal Zi Sha (Purple Clay) teapot, featuring the inscription "招財進寶" (Bring Wealth and Treasure) on each of its six faces. This piece is inspired by the legendary Ming Dynasty potter Shi Dabing. The lid's finial is fashioned into the shape of a Yuanbao (ancient Chinese ingot), symbolizing prosperity.

Masterfully crafted, the body of the teapot is adorned with intricate, three-dimensional carvings of bats and clouds, motifs often associated with good fortune and longevity. The dark, earthy tone suggests it is made from a Black Clay (Heini) blend.

While genuine works by Shi Dabing are exceptionally rare and primarily housed in prestigious collections like the Palace Museum in Beijing, with significant pieces occasionally fetching billions at major auctions, this teapot is likely a later reproduction. However, even as a high-quality imitation, it possesses considerable historical and artistic value.

時大彬製의 款을 가진 六方大壺로 각面에 招財進寶(보물과재물을 불러들인다)글귀가 있는 明代전설적인 紫砂壺의 長人의 作品으로 뚜껑의 손잡이는 옛貨幣인 元寶모양을 하고 있으며 몸통전체에 박쥐와 구름문양을 입체적으로 정교하게 刻을 하여 表現한 器物로 검은피부로 보아 黑泥계열인듯 하다...時大彬의 作品은 대부분 北京 古宮博物館에 所藏되어있으며 가끔 Major競賣 市場에 20~30억이상에 去來되고있다... 사용감이 많고 歲月의 痕迹이 온몸에 베인 本作品이 眞品인지 여부는 가늠하기 힘들지만 後代古倣이라 해도 價値는 충분하다 생각된다...판단은 여러분의 몫으로^^^
