황동(黃銅) 촛대(燭臺) 2점입니다. 자석이 붙지 않으며, 두 점 합계 무게는 598g입니다. 한 손으로 들었을 때 묵직한 무게감이 느껴지는 견실한 제품입니다.

기둥이 아주 견고하고 전체적으로 튼튼하여, 직접 손에 들었을 때 탄탄한 느낌이 전해집니다. 넓은 원형 밑받침과 기둥의 균형 잡힌 비례도 돋보입니다.

밑받침에는 길쭉한 잎이 바깥으로 펼쳐지는 모양의 부조(浮彫)가 들어 있습니다. 잎맥과 가장자리의 굴곡이 도드라져 있으며, 바탕의 거친 질감과 돌출된 무늬가 대비되어 입체감이 좋습니다.
