A Song Dynasty (or later imitation) ewer with a pale yellow glaze and a melon-shaped body, topped with a mythical beast spout. The glaze is evenly applied, exhibiting a smooth luster and significant crazing (crackle pattern). The base reveals an ash-white clay body with observable iron specks.

This piece is believed to be a late Qing Dynasty imitation, potentially produced in the Beifang kiln. It is part of a private collection being deaccessioned after 30 years.

宋代 米黃釉白瓷 瑞首 瓜稜形 執壺입니다. 피부 유약이 고르게 시유되었으며 광택이 매우 부드럽고 開片(빙렬)이 상당 진행됨을 볼수있고 굽의 태토는 灰白色이며 鐵粉도 관찰된다.
淸末期 古倣으로 北坊窯에서 製作된것으로 사료된다..
