<국보 78호 미륵반가사유상 테라코타>

부처가 되려는 발원과 신앙심이 충만했던
신라인들의 원불, 미륵보살像입니다.
신라 시대의 토기와 같은 방법으로 오래전에
복원해서 만들어진 테라코타 미륵불입니다.
요즘에는 구할 수 없는 골동품입니다.

국보 78호와 같은 편안한 미소가 특징이며,
자연스런 세월의 손때와 닳음이 있어 부분적으로
반질반질해졌습니다. 토기는 마치 오래된 기와처럼
세월의 풍화로 푸른 청회색 빛이 돌며, 곳곳에 흙물이
들어있습니다.

본당에 보셔도 손색이 없는 31cm 크기의 토불로 불자분들은 집 안 거실이나 사무실 인테리어로 좋습니다.
