This helmet is a relic from the Second World War, belonging to the Japanese Army's Type 90 steel helmet.

**Condition:**

* The helmet was heavily rusted upon acquisition. The rust has been completely ground off and treated with gasoline. Over time, it will not maintain a polished shine but will prevent further discoloration. Please note that after grinding, steel can develop a yellowish hue in certain areas as it ages.
* One of the chin strap loops is missing.
* There are minor dents in places, but the overall shape is excellent.
* The interior has not been as extensively treated as the exterior.

- 제목 그대로입니다. 입수 당시 워낙 녹이 많이 슬어 손 대기 무서울 정도.

- 결국 그라인더로 전부 다 깍아내고 휘발유를 뿌려두었습니다. 시간이 지나면 사진처럼 번쩍이진 않지만 변색은 되지 않는다고 하네요. 참고로 강철은 그라인더 작업 후 일정 시간이 지나면 노랗게, 부분적으로 변할 수 있습니다.

- 턱끈 잡아주는 고리 하나가 빠져 달아났습니다.

- 군데 군데 조금씩 들어간 부분도 있지만 전체적인 형태는 아주 좋습니다.

- 내부는 겉만큼 갈지 않았습니다.
