A simple and elegant Dawon tea bowl, "Yukijang".

This piece is a representative example of the "Goido" style.
It is highly regarded as one of the finest tea bowls for Chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony).

The origin dates back to the 17th century, known as a form of Goryeo tea bowl cherished by the esteemed Japanese tea master "Kobori Enshu".
(The name "Yukijang" originates from its discovery location, "Rokujizo")

It features finely developed crackles (Kan'nyu) and pleasing, subtle 'kai-raki' (stone cracks, plum blossom pattern).
Unlike typical Jeongho bowls, its flat base (low foot) provides excellent stability.
