This is the first issue of the 2019 Kennedy Half Dollar, minted with a purity of 99.9% silver. From 1992, Kennedy Half Dollars were issued at 90% silver content, but production ceased in 2018, and starting in 2019, the silver content was increased to 99.9%. This particular coin is from the inaugural 2019 release with 99.9% silver purity and has received the highest grade from NGC, PF 70 Ultra Cameo.
