[BUNJANG] Bobby Caldwell Cat In The Hat LP / AOR 명반 추천 바비 콜드웰 Bobby Caldwell Cat In The Hat LP

Bobby Caldwell – Cat In The Hat

Released in 1980, this is Bobby Caldwell's second studio album.

It features representative tracks such as "Coming Down From Love" and "Open Your Eyes." The album builds upon the blue-eyed soul sensibility of his first album while showcasing a more sophisticated AOR sound.

While his first album, featuring "What You Won't Do For Love," is overwhelmingly more recognized in Korea, this title is consistently sought after by collectors who appreciate AOR and West Coast sounds.

This pressing is notable for its quiet sound quality and clean finish, characteristic of early Japanese CBS/Sony pressings.

바비 콜드웰 Bobby Caldwell – Cat In The Hat
1980년 발표된 바비 콜드웰의 두 번째 스튜디오 앨범입니다.
대표곡인 「Coming Down From Love」, 「Open Your Eyes」 등을 수록하고 있으며, 1집의 블루아이드 소울 감성을 이어가면서도 보다 세련된 AOR 사운드를 들려주는 작품입니다.
국내에서는 「What You Won't Do For Love」가 수록된 1집의 인지도가 압도적이지만, AOR·웨스트코스트 사운드를 좋아하는 수집가들 사이에서는 꾸준히 찾는 타이틀입니다.
일본 CBS/Sony 초반 프레싱 특유의 조용한 음질과 깔끔한 마감이 돋보이는 앨범입니다.
