This piece was acquired from a previous owner who had purchased it as one of Master Heo's late-period works. As dating late-period works can be challenging, the seal of Master Heo, featured in the Korean Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Encyclopedia (see last image), has been provided for authentication. Personally, the seal appears to be very similar. Please examine the images carefully before purchasing.
The artwork depicts two immortal beings enjoying tea on a boat by a riverside, adorned with vibrant green willows and blooming pink peach blossoms. The boat drifts leisurely, suggesting a journey away from the mundane world towards an idyllic paradise.
The painting has been removed from its frame. While there are minor blemishes, the overall condition is good.

의재 허백련 선생의 선상끽차도입니다.
본작품은 전소장께서 의재선생의 말기작으로 구입하여 내놓았는데 개인적으로 말기작의 작품은 감정이 어려워
마지막 사진 한국서화가인보에 실려있는 의재선생의 인장을 올렸습니다.
개인적으론 거의 흡사해보이는데 이미지 잘 살펴보시고 구매하시길 바랍니다.

그림의 내용은 연푸른빛의 버드나무와 분홍빛 도화가 피어있는 강가 에서 배를 탄 신선 두명이 차를 마시는 장면을 묘사하였고 유유히 어디론가 향하고 있어 세속을 떠나 이상향으로 들어가는 여정을 암시합니다.
상태는 액자에서 빼었으며 약간의 얼룩은 보이지만 양호한 편입니다.
