This is an exquisite wooden craft, estimated to have been produced during the Showa period (1950s-1980s) in Japan.

Crafted using the Rokuro technique (potter's wheel processing with carving tools), it showcases intricate detail.

This is not a mass-produced item but a piece of vintage craftsmanship.

The characteristic horizontal grooved pattern (intaglio) unique to the Rokuro technique adds to its aesthetic appeal, making it suitable for display, interior decoration, or practical use as a tea caddy or incense container.
