This tea bowl is based on the famous Jian ware (建盞) style from the Song Dynasty in China. It is a unique and ornate tea bowl created by combining Tibetan Buddhist iconography with elaborate coloring techniques.

The brushstrokes in the painting are extremely delicate, and the gold and colored enamels are exceptionally well-preserved. This is a beautiful piece, perfect for display and collection at tea ceremonies.
