[BUNJANG] Kaori Shimura FLAVOR LP (1985) / 시무라 카오리 Kaori Shimura FLAVOR LP

This is an original Japanese LP of Kaori Shimura's debut full-length album "FLAVOR," released in 1985.

This album beautifully captures the clear idol pop sound of her debut and the sophisticated J-pop arrangements characteristic of the 80s.

Kaori Shimura had singles charting on Oricon between 1985-1986, with "Kumori, nochi Hare" and "Hoshi no Symphony" reaching a peak position of 22. This album "FLAVOR" includes these two hit songs along with "Shiokaze no Music Box," "Suna no Castle," "KI・RA・RA," and the title track "FLAVOR," totaling 10 songs.

Notably, Kaori Shimura has a limited discography of full-length original albums, making this debut release a significant collector's item representing the early phase of her career. As pictured, complete sets including the OBI are not commonly found domestically, making this a great addition for collectors of 80s female idol, Showa Kayōkyoku, and Japanese Pop LPs. In specialty Japanese record stores, copies including the OBI and lyric sheet are traded separately.
