This is a celadon black and white sanggam crane vase by Master Ji Chang-geun.

This piece was imported through a local auction as an exhibition piece in Japan and is considered to be of higher artistic value than works by Mr. Ji Chang-geun domestically.

Ceramic artist Ji Cheon (地泉) Ji Chang-geun is a representative master who has inherited and developed Korea's celadon and traditional pottery techniques. As a direct disciple of Hae Gang (海剛) Yoo Geun-hyung, a first-generation re-creator of Korean celadon, he deeply inherited the beautiful jade color and sanggam technique of traditional Goryeo celadon.

He has been creating pottery his entire life since entering the pottery world in 1973, operating 'Jicheon-yo' in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. He presents works that reinterpret traditional Goryeo celadon forms and patterns, such as the celadon 'Yuk hwamunho', with a modern sensibility. He has consistently participated in overseas exhibitions in Japan and the United States, gaining international recognition for the artistic merit of Korean ceramics.

The celadon's craquelure is very fine, and the cranes are depicted with ample space, emphasizing the beauty of emptiness, rendered skillfully with black and white sanggam. It is a masterpiece.

This is a piece with a stable form, measuring 4.5 cm at the mouth and 27 cm in height.

The original box is included, and the condition is perfect.
