현존하는 최고의 거장이자 음악계에서 존경을 한 몸에 받고 있는 메나헴 프레슬러가 들려주는 빈악파 슈베르트, 모차르트, 베토벤 3인방의 걸작집. 1800년대 빈은 음악사 중 가장 빛나는 시대였다. 1826년 작곡되어진 슈베르트의 피아노 소나타 D.894는 그의 역작 소나타 중 하나로 형식과 개념이 가장 완벽한 곡이다. 모차르트의 단조 론도 K.511은 아름다우면서도 쓸쓸한 슬픔을 담고 있다. 1825년 씌여진 베토벤의 바가텔 Op.126은 베토벤 스스로도 자신의 최고 작품이라고 말했다. 프레슬러는 자신의 음악에 대한 모든 애정과 인생의 경험을 한 음 한 음에 정성스레 담고 있어 젊은 비르투오소는 감히 흉내내지 못할 신의 한 수를 들려준다. 독일 태생의 메나헴 프레슬러는 드뷔시 피아노 대회에서 1위 획득과 함께 화려한 데뷔를 하여 1955년 버크셔 뮤직 페스벌에서 보자르 트리오 멤버로 첫 무대에 올랐다. 그후 53여 년간 전세계에서 극찬을 받는 전설적인 연주단체로 많은 활동을 하였다.
