This exquisite celadon porcelain vase, crafted by the renowned artist Park In-won (1954-2001), stands at 20cm in height with a 3cm mouth. The vase is in mint condition and exudes a sense of understated elegance.

Park In-won, a distinguished figure in Korean ceramics, was a student of the master ceramist Ryu Keun-hyung. He established the Gojeon-yo studio in Gwangju after working at Dongguk-yo and Bujeon-yo, and he is celebrated for his unique interpretations of traditional Korean aesthetics. His work often features white porcelain adorned with motifs that capture Korean sentiments.

The pomegranate motif, symbolizing fertility and abundance, is a hallmark of Park In-won's work. This vase exemplifies the artist's skill, with its stable form and the harmonious blend of the cloud-shaped band at the top and the pomegranate design on the body. 백자명인 해강 류근형선생께 사사받아서 동국요와 부전요를 거치고 광주에서 고전요를 설립하여 활동하신 분입니다.

​박인원 작가님은 대한민국 도예계에서 활동하며 전통의 현대적 해석을 시도해온 분입니다. 주로 백자를 바탕으로 한국적인 정서를 담은 문양을 그려 넣는 작업에 능하신 것으로 알려져 있습니다.

석류는 다산과 풍요를 상징합니다.
박인원 작가는 이러한 전통적 길상(吉祥, 좋은 운조) 문양을 즐겨 사용했습니다.
​예술성은 기형(도자기의 모양)이 안정적이고, 상단의 여의두문(구름 모양의 띠)과 몸통의 석류 그림이 조화를 이루어 선비다운 정갈함이 느껴지는 수작입니다.
