In May 1950, during a period when there were no proper fighter jets, 10 T-6 Texan aircraft were purchased from Canada with funds raised by the public.

These aircraft were named 'Geon-guk-gi' (National Foundation Aircraft) and marked the Republic of Korea Air Force's first modern aviation capability.

During the Korean War, pilots would manually drop bombs from the rear seat of the unarmed T-6 to slow down enemy advances. Subsequently, they were deployed for reconnaissance and frontline control missions.

This is a 1/72 scale, pre-built model.
