쇼트 NYC는 1913에 쇼트 형제가 서립한 의류 회사입니다.단추 대신 지퍼로 앞을 잠그는 재킷을 처음으로 만들었으며 가죽 라이더 자켓으로 유명한 브랜드입니다. 세계대전 기간에는 많은 브랜드들과 같이 군납을 하였고 이때 만들기 시작한 피코트 등의 밀리터리 웨어도 꾸준히 내놓았습니다. 이들은 현재까지도 쇼트 가족들이 운영하며 특이하게 아직까지도 대부분의 제품을 미국 내에서 생산을 하고 있습니다.
