This is the limited edition A-type release of Southern All Stars' 15th album, "Budou" (葡萄). 葡萄 (포도) 는 서던올스타즈의 15번째 앨범
캐치 카피는 「대중 음악의 정수, 여기에 극치다」.
자신의 앨범으로서는, 전작의 「킬러 스트리트」로부터 거의 9년반만이 되는 발매이다.
당초에는 곡수를 8곡 정도로 하려고 계획했지만, 제작하는 사이에 녹음이 무르익고 쿠와타의 창작 의욕이 오히려 높아져, 결과적으로 현재의 곡수가 된 것으로 알려졌다.
「피스와 하이라이트」 「도쿄 VICTORY」라는 기발매된 싱글이나 「알로에」 「싫은 일 투성이의 세상에서」등의 화제곡이 가득한 초대작이다.
밴드 사운드를 축으로 한 장르도 초월하는 컬러풀한 악곡군에, 일본을 둘러싼 세태에의 귀기 강요하는 기백과 심각한 메시지성을 추구한 악곡을 다수 수록.강인한 인간력과 음악의 저력이 넘치는, 웅장하고 압도적 리얼리티 가득한 작품.
음악평론가 시부야 요이치는 데뷔앨범과 같은 에너지를 가진 앨범이라고 평가했다.
