Synopsis:
Earth was not destroyed, but sucked into the subspace where 'Nu' was trapped. 'Nu', whose spirit was sealed in subspace after turning to dust, needed parts of its body to revive in the universe, and Earth was one of those parts. Harlock, after rescuing Tadashi and Engineer Maji, confronts 'Nu's' spirit in the spiritual world. However, Harlock, unfazed by 'Nu's' true form, destroys 'Nu'.

Captain Harlock, one of Leiji Matsumoto's eternal personas, is a character known for his solitary charm. He travels the universe with the Arcadia, embodying the soul of his friend Tochiro, and forms a cornerstone of the universe (commonly known as the 'LeijiVerse'). Works featuring Captain Harlock as the protagonist include the [Space Pirate Captain Harlock] series, the movie [Space Pirate Captain Harlock - The Secret of the Arcadia (1 Youth's Arcadia)], the TV series [My Youth's Arcadia Infinite Orbit SSX], and the OVA [Harlock Saga]. He also appears as a supporting character in other Leiji Matsumoto works such as [Galaxy Express 999], [Queen Emeraldas], and [Gun Frontier].

[Characters]

(1) Captain Harlock:
A space pirate who roams the galaxy aboard the Arcadia. He loves freedom and fights according to his beliefs. His expression is cold, but he is a warm-hearted man underneath, a charismatic character.

(2) Emeraldas:
A woman who worked as a freelance trader in space. Her story begins when her ship, the Emeraldas, crash-lands on Earth. Tochiro repairs her ship, and their relationship begins. After receiving a scar on her face, similar to Harlock's, from the Armidas army and being exiled, she becomes a fearsome female pirate wandering the universe with Harlock.

(3) Tochiro Oyama:
The designer of the Arcadia. He built the Arcadia in an underground workshop and met Harlock while searching for a captain to command it. He also met his lover, Emeraldas, for the first time. Later, he would spend eternity aboard the Arcadia with Harlock.

줄거리
지구는 소멸된 것이 아니라, '누'가 갇혀있는 아공간으로 빨려갔던 것이다. 가루가 되어 사라진 후 아공간에 정신이 봉인된 '누'가 우주로 부활하기 위해서는 자신의 신체 일부가 필요했는데 지구가 바로 '누'의 신체 일부였던 것이다. 타다시와 기관사 마지를 구
해낸 하록은 정신세계에서 '누'의 정신과 맞선다. 그러나 '누'의 진정한 모습을 직접 보아도 굴하지 않는 하록은 반대로 '누'를 소멸시켜 버린다.

우주에서 자유무역 중개인업을 하고있던 여인 에메랄더스는 자신의 에메랄더스호가 지구에 불시착하며 자신의 스토리를 시작한다 추락한 에메랄더스호를 토치로가 고쳐주게 되고 그 인연으로 인해 둘은 영원히 사랑하는 사이가 된다 아르미다스 군에의해 얼굴에 하록과 같은 상처를 입게되고 추방당한 하록과 함께 우주를 떠도는 무서운 여해적이 되게된다.

(3) 오야마 토치로 (Tochiro Oyama)
아르카디아호를 만든 장본인.. 지하토크에서 아르카디아를 건조하고 그 아르카디아호를 맡아줄 함장을찾던중 하록과 만나게 된다... 자신의 연인 에메랄더스와도 첫만남을 가지게 되고 나중엔 하록과 함께 영원히 아르카디아호에서 지내게 된다.
