*Official Description:
This cast iron wind chime comes from the esteemed craft brand , whose lineage of artisans has been employed as feudal lords' casters since 1625. In 1970, the 13th-generation master craftsman was designated as an Intangible Cultural Property. This wind chime is cherished for the weighty, classical beauty of its cast iron material and its deep, resonant sound.

The poem, written vertically, is a work by Ishikawa Takuboku, a representative poet from the Iwate region, expressing a longing for his childhood hometown:

On the banks of the Kitakami River, snow appears,
Bringing tears to my eyes.>
