When Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont felt uncomfortable using a pocket watch while flying,

Louis Cartier designed and donated the first wristwatch with a square bezel, marking the beginning of the Santos' history.

The screw design of the bezel is said to have been inspired by the Art Deco bridges of the Eiffel Tower, while others

inspired the design by aircraft components.

The Cartier Santos Dumont was launched in 1911 and became a beloved watch for its simplicity and thinness,

and continues to this day.
The Santos model has been released in various lines, from the CARREE line to the GALBEE line, and up to the current model.

The GALBEE line, with its steel bracelet for women, is not yet available in stores.

루이까르띠에는 사각배젤의 최초의 손목시계를 디자인해 기증하며 산토스의 역사는 시작되었습니다.


배젤의 나사디자인은 artdeco 시절의 에펠탑의 다리를 연상해 디자인했다는 설과 비행기의 부품들을

디자인에 참조했다는 설등 다양합니다.

1911년 까르띠에 산토스 뒤몽이 출시되며 단순하고 얇은 두께로 아주 많은 사랑을 받았으며
