This is Kim Geun-su's brassware, Important Intangible Cultural Property No. 77.

It consists of two rice bowls, one soup bowl, and one plate.

Only a few brassware artisans have been designated as Important Intangible Cultural Properties by the government.
One of them, Hyangwon Kim Geun-su, was on par with Yi Bong-ju, but he has since passed away.
As you can see from the seal engraved below,
it is faint because it was hand-carved in the early stages.
Later, it was replaced with a cast seal.
This is a relatively rare item.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to own it.
My parents gave it to me as a gift, and I kept it in a closet.
I received it as a set, but this is all I have left.
The actual piece is surprisingly heavy.
I don't know how to care for or store it, so I'll pass it on to someone who does.

유기 장인들중 국가에서 지정한 중요무형문화재인 분은 몇분이 안됩니다.
그중 한분인 향원 김근수님은 이봉주님과 어깨를 나란히 하시는분인데 현재는 작고하셨습니다.
아래 새겨진 낙관을 보시면 아시겠지만
수작업으로 새긴 초기형이라 희미합니다.
후기에는 주물로 찍어낸 낙관인장으로 되어 있습니다.
상대적으로 아주 귀한 물건입니다.
소장하실분께 추천드립니다
부모님께서 선물받으셔서 장롱안에 보관만 하시던
세트 그대로 제가 받아 가지고 있었는데, 이것밖에 남지 않았네요.
실물이 놀랄 정도로 묵직합니다.
