[BUNJANG] Korean 500 Won Banknote - Graded 65 EPQ (Uncirculated) / 영제 오백원 65등급 EPQ
Banknote rarity typically follows the order: 50 Won, 500 Won, 10 Won, 100 Won, 5 Won, and 1 Won, with higher denominations generally being rarer and more valuable.
The 500 Won denomination is particularly popular among collectors due to its vibrant and aesthetically pleasing design, which stands out compared to previous currency issues.
Grading by third-party services like PMG (Paper Money Guaranty) in the US involves significant costs (approximately ₩40,000) and time (over 4 months), with higher grades becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Therefore, acquiring already graded notes presents a strategic advantage for collectors.
The price is determined by the banknote's rarity, condition, and assigned grade.
I have other rare banknotes and coins listed at competitive prices. Please feel free to browse my collection.
