[BUNJANG] Natural Jade Hand-Carved Multi-Color Three-Dimensional Sculpture: Majestic Eight Horses /

This is a hand-carved, multi-colored, three-dimensional sculpture of eight horses, crafted from natural jade.

**Artistic Value & Features**

* **Color Matching Sculpture Utilizing Natural Jade's Pleochroism:** Meticulously analyzed the natural color distribution within the jade (including white, black, and yellow jade tones formed over millennia) and incorporated it into the carving. By placing the horses against the jade's inherent, irregular, and deep natural color spectrum, an extreme natural beauty and three-dimensional effect, unattainable through artificial coloring, is achieved.

* **Maximized Spatial Sense through Combined Intaglio & High-Relief Carving:** A combination of deep carving and openwork techniques for the black jade background, along with high-relief carving for the protruding white and yellow jade horses, creates a profound sense of perspective and tactile texture, as if the horses are bursting forth from the canvas.

* **Harmony of Anatomical Dynamics and Deconstructivist Composition:**
* **Muscle Tension & Anatomical Detail:** The eight horses, depicted in dynamic poses, are sculpted with precise capture of skeletal structure and momentary muscle contraction and relaxation.
* **Wind-Swept Manes & Fine Details:** The flowing lines of the manes and tails visually maximize the sense of speed and dynamism as they gallop against the wind, achieved through exquisite fine-line engraving.

* **Solid Form and Aesthetic Beauty from Weight and Materiality:** Despite its compact dimensions (35cm W x 15cm H), the substantial weight of 3.344kg proves this sculpture is made from a high-purity, dense block of natural jade, not low-density artificial resin or synthetic material.

Its cool, smooth texture and subtle luster characteristic of stone further elevate its status as a premium craftwork. A valuable piece for collection.
