This is a rare, oversized vintage art frame from the 1960s-70s, featuring the original Brazilian Blue Morpho butterflies. The name "Morpho" means "to change," and these butterflies are known for their dazzling, iridescent wings that shift from vibrant blue to deep violet depending on the angle.
