This is a vintage jewelry box from the 1970s, crafted in Japan. The exterior features a lacquered wood finish adorned with intricate mother-of-pearl inlay of flowers and butterflies on the lid.

The interior is lined with red velvet, perfect for storing accessories like rings, earrings, and necklaces. Despite its age, the box is in excellent condition with no significant damage or loss of mother-of-pearl, and the lacquer's sheen is well-preserved.
