Mid-century modern from the 1950s-1960s.

Original antique Siamese cat figurines from the Seto studio in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, originally produced in limited quantities for export to Europe and the US during that era.

The signature glossy enamel glaze technique unique to the Seto family at the time has been applied, preserving a mirror-like, transparent, and smooth sheen.

Featuring a charming Siamese cat shape that remains adorable even today, with intricate hand-painted details on the eyes, nose, mouth, and tail, making it a piece of art-like object.

It showcases the strong bond of love with two cats nestled together, heads touching, adorned with hand-drawn star flowers, symbolizing a deep connection.

Among the pieces produced during that period, this is a rare, tall, large-sized figurine, highly recommended as a special focal point for any space.

There are minor imperfections and marks from the manufacturing process, but it is in truly excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or signs of age.
