A plain white slip celadon bowl from the early Joseon Dynasty.

This piece exhibits a slightly rounded form with a stable, naturally flared rim and a narrow, small foot that provides stable proportion relative to the bowl's size.

The characteristics of the shape and clay body, along with firing marks from coarse sand, suggest it was produced in a kiln near Gyeryongsan Mountain in Chungcheong Province.

The natural warping of the rim due to intense heat during firing, which cannot be artificially replicated, beautifully showcases a Wabi-sabi aesthetic.

Large and small crackles have naturally formed on the soft clay body, and the walls are thin. The excellent condition of the sedimentation marks on the interior base makes this bowl ideal for use as a tea bowl for 'bakcha' (whisked tea) or as a water-rinsing bowl.

전체적으로 약간의 쇼바형을 이루며, 구연부는 안정감 있게 자연스럽게 벌어져 있고 좁고 작은 굽은 기물의 크기에 비해 안정적인 비례를 보여줍니다
굵은 모래받침으로 번조된 점과 기형 및 태토의 특징을 살펴볼 때, 충청도 계룡산 인근 지역 가마에서 제작된 기물로 추정됩니다
소성 당시 강한 불길을 받아 구연부가 자연스럽게 일그러진 모습은 인위적으로 재현하기 어려운 것으로, 와비사비적인 미감을 잘 보여줍니다
연질 태토 위에 크고 작은 빙렬이 자연스럽게 형성되어 있고 기벽 또한 얇으며, 내저부의 차고임 자리도 좋아 박차용 다완 or 퇴수기로 활용하기에 좋은 사발입니다
