This is an antique Korean folk art piece, an 8-point shaped Jogakbo, also known as Sangbo.

Crafted from high-quality silk brocade, it is densely adorned with intricate 'Shou' (longevity) characters and cloud motifs, a common element in traditional Korean art.

The Bojagi, made by sewing together various fabric pieces, carries the auspicious meaning of 'gift-giving' in Korean traditional culture, symbolizing the wrapping and carrying of good fortune.

Its size, not exceeding that of a typical dining table runner, makes it suitable for practical use as a 'Dapo' (table decoration) during tea ceremonies.

While there is some fading consistent with its age, the piece is in good condition overall.
