This is a collection of three antique Korean items related to geomancy and traditional navigation.

**Geomancy Manuscript (Byulsa-bon):**

* **Content:** A meticulously handwritten manuscript written in classical Chinese, believed to discuss the principles of identifying auspicious locations (Myungdang).
* **Format:** The manuscript unfolds like a small, foldable screen (Byeongpung-cheop) and is densely written on both sides. When fully extended, it measures approximately 10 meters in length, with the content potentially doubling to 20 meters.
* **Condition:** The paper shows expected age-related discoloration. Due to its length and folding, there are a few minor separations along the creases, which could be easily repaired with adhesive. The text itself is well-preserved and neatly written. Returns will not be accepted based on the interpretation of the content, only for significant damage beyond expected age.

**Compass with Level:**

* **Estimated Era:** Japanese colonial period (approximately 100 years old).
* **Material:** Features brass decorative elements and a needle secured by a screw.
* **Functionality:** Serves as both a compass and a spirit level.
* **Condition:** Shows signs of age consistent with its estimated era.

**Palgack Pyeolcheon (Octagonal Compass):**

* **Era:** Not considered antique; likely a replica or decorative item.
* **Distinguishing Feature:** The compass needle is housed under plastic, not glass, indicating it is not a genuine antique.
* **Purpose:** Offered as a complementary piece for decorative or display purposes.

오래된 병풍첩 접이식 작은 필사본 서책 입니다
한문과 풍수와 관련된 것으로 보이는 내용이 앞뒤로
필사 되어 있습니다(인쇄아님)
앞뒤로 빼곡한 내용 이기에 실제 방대한 내용으로
볼수있겠습니다
길이로 펼쳐 놓으니 대략 10m쯤 되는것 같습니다
앞뒤의 글내용은 2배인 20m가 가늠됩니다~
명당의 구분과 설명 이지 않을까? 추측입니다
제가 한자에 게을리해 해독 하기 어렵고 장문의 내용
이라 꼼꼼히 살펴보지 않은 상태로 서책의 상태나
세월감 으로 판단시 조선시대라 추정해보는 바입니다~
깨알처럼 글문도 깔끔하게 정돈되어 쓰신듯 하구요
상태는 위낙 길게 지그재그로 병풍처럼 접어서 사용된
지라 접히는 약한 부분이 현재 로는 두어곳 분리되어
떨어져 있습니다
투명테이프로 붙이려다 오히려 손상 될것 같아 있는
그대로 보여드립니다
약간의 솜씨만 있으시면 풀로 붙이시면 될듯 하며
그외 내용의 큰손상은 없습니다
오래된 종이라 조금의 변색감은 당연히 존재합니다
그외 나침반겸 수평계는 모서리와 바늘의 부분 커버에
동장식의 일자나사 고정되어 있습니다
실제 옛날 오리지널 나침반 이겠습니다
팔각패철은 옛날께 아닌것으로 보겠습니다
이유는 나침바늘이 삽입된 곳이 유리가 아닌 프라스틱
입니다
오래된 패철은 아닌것으로 보나 혹시나 장식을 하시는
자료의 쓰임새 로는 함께 구성해 연출 하시라~
