목에 두른 금탁과 가슴의 장식은 이 영수가 길들여진 수호신임을 나타내며
완벽한 대칭보다는 각기 다른 표정과 자세에서 오는 생동감이 일품입니다

특히 정면에서 보았을 때 부라린 눈과 대조되는 입가의 미소는
조각 특유의 해학을 잘 보여줍니다
주칠과 금칠 흔적이 뚜렷하며
오랜세월에 의해 자연스럽게 박락된 금칠은 유물의 연대감을 더해주며 고풍스러운 멋을 풍깁니다

바닥면의 명문(銘文)이 기물의 가장 큰 특징이며
​글씨가 매우 촘촘하고 정교하게 쓰인 것으로 보아
