This is a 100 Won banknote from the Bank of Korea. While 'Mubaekwon' (white notes) are generally common with large remaining quantities and extensive circulation, most fall into the 30s serial number range or are the 48A variety, and are often in poor condition due to being over 80 years old.

However, this particular banknote is rare due to its yellow paper, serial number 28A, a grading of 63, and the EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) designation, indicating superior quality.

Furthermore, obtaining authentication from the U.S. PMG for Bank of Korea currency incurs a cost of 65,000 KRW, takes over four months, and receiving high grades is increasingly difficult. Therefore, collecting graded notes is currently advantageous.
