## Branded 1919 New Standard Jeans (Crop Slim Fit, Mid-Blue Wash)

This is Branded's masterpiece and signature product, a key model that elevated Branded alongside M*onain as one of the two major players in the domestic denim scene. First released around SS18, this model was discontinued after the 22 season, following multiple restocks. It has undergone minor seasonal renewals with no significant changes.

I purchased this as a final spare pair in 2022 after wearing my previous pair extensively. I haven't worn it much since then.

During the time when APC's Petit New Standard mid-blue jeans dominated the domestic denim market before COVID-19, these jeans gained considerable popularity, even being referred to as 'B-APC' (Branded-APC). While not comparable to an international contemporary brand like APC, they were a decent choice for an APC-like style at the time. The rise of this product coincided with a shift away from premium pricing in domestic denim, and it feels like the development of domestic denim, alongside the progress of M*onain, has contributed to this trend. The actual color is slightly lighter than APC's comparable product, and even lighter than the model photos – a subtle mid-blue tone.

These jeans are cut from raw indigo denim, sewn, and then hand-washed. The result is a bright mid-blue denim that mimics the fading achieved after years of wearing raw denim. It's a hand-washed denim with a light mid-blue tone.

Made with 98% cotton and 2% elastane, these jeans have a substantial thickness, giving them a firm feel. However, the 2% elastane provides good stretch, making them comfortable for daily wear. They have slight stretch for comfortable wear and excellent recovery, meaning they resist stretching out. My previous pair showed no signs of deformation even after consistent wear.

Size is 32, with a waist circumference of 42cm. The fit is straight down to the ankle, and the total length is approximately 97cm. For someone 178cm tall, they fall loosely around the ankles. Please refer to the photos for detailed measurements.

Furthermore, unlike the tall and slim profile of M*onain, Branded was noted for being suitable for those with thicker thighs. As a beacon of hope for those with thicker thighs, I've frequently used Branded products. I'm now selling them as I'm entering my 30s and changing my style.

The [CROP SLIM] fit is Branded's slimmest line, but it's comparable to the 'Tapered Fit' of other brands, so it's perfectly wearable even now.

브랜디드의 역작이자 시그니처 제품으로 브랜디드를 모*나인과 함께 도메스틱 데님계의 양대산맥으로 발돋움시킨 대표모델입니다. 18S/S 즈음 처음 출시된 이래 N차 재입고를 거쳐 22시즌을 마지막으로 단종된 제품인데요. 매시즌 리뉴얼되는 제품으로 큰 변화는 없습니다.
마르고 닳도록 입다가 22년에 마지막 여분으로 구한 제품입니다. 이 이후론 별로 입지 않았네요.

코로나 이전 아페쎄의 쁘띠 뉴 스탠다드 중청진이 국내 데님계를 평정할 무렵 브페쎄로 불리며 상당한 인기를 누린 제품입니다. 아무렴 해외 컨템포러리 브랜드인 아페쎄에 비할 바는 아니지만 당시 아페쎄맛으로 입기 괜찮았습니다. 본 제품이 두드러지는 시기와 맞물려 국내 데님의 프리미엄화가 옅어지고 모*나인의 약진과 함께 국내 도메스틱 데님의 발전이 이루어진 느낌도 없지않아 있다고 생각합니다. 실제 아페쎄의 해당 제품보단 약간 밝은 느낌입니다. 모델사진보다도 밝습니다. 은은한 중청톤입니다.

인디고 생지 데님을 재단하여 봉제한 뒤 워싱 공정에서 수작업으로 워싱을 작업한 제품으로 실제로 생지 상태의 청바지를 몇 년 입은 뒤 나올 수 있는 페이딩을 수작업 워싱을 연출한 밝은 중청톤의 데님이라고 합니다. 실제로 약간 밝은 중청톤의 워싱진입니다.

면 98% 엘라스틴 2% 데님으로 이루어진 제품으로 다른 제품에 비해 두께감이 있어서 탄탄한 느낌이지만 2%의 엘라스틴으로 신축성이 좋아서 데일리로 편안하게 입을 수 있는 제품이라고 합니다. 실제로 스판기가 약간 있어 편하게 입을 수 있습니다. 복원력이 탁월하기에 늘어짐이 적은 것이 특징이라고 하네요. 이전에 줄기차게 입었던 제품의 경우에도 옷의 변형은 일체 없었습니다. 갓1919입니다.

사이즈는 32로 허리둘레 42cm입니다. 품은 발목까지 일자핏이며 총장은 97cm 정도로 신장 178cm 기준 발목에 걸칠 정도로 여유있게 떨어집니다. 자세한 사이즈는 사진 참조바랍니다.

또한 길쭉 날씬한 모*나인에 비해 브랜디드는 허벅지가 굵은이들도 입기 좋아 주목받았던 브랜드이기도 합니다. 허벅돼의 한줄기 희망으로써 브랜디드 제품 참 많이 애용했는데 30대에 접어들어 스타일 변화로 처분합니다.
[CROP SLIM] 핏의 경우 브랜디드에서 가장 슬림한 라인이기는 하나 실제 다른 브랜드의 "테이퍼드 핏" 정도에 불과한 라인이라 현재에도 입기에 전혀 지장이 없는 제품입니다.
