"RAY" is BUMP OF CHICKEN's 7th original studio album. It features popular tracks such as:

* "Smile" (A collaboration with manga artist Takehiko Inoue).
* "Zero" (Theme song for the game "Final Fantasy Type-0").

This album was released approximately 3 years and 3 months after their previous album, [COSMONAUT]. The release was announced on October 29, 2013, during their tour "WILL POLIS" at the Nippon Budokan.

The title "RAY" means "ray of light" in English.

전작 [COSMONAUT]로부터 약 3년 3개월만이 되는 오리지널 앨범이며 2013년 10월 29일에 개최된 투어 「WILL POLIS」의 일본 무도관 공연의 무대상에서 릴리스가 발표되었다.
제목 RAY는 영어로 광선을 가리킨다.
