The Qing Dynasty Glazed Red porcelain inherited the copper red pigment technique that originated in the Yuan and Ming dynasties. Patterns were drawn with copper components beneath the glaze and fired to produce a red color. The firing process is very delicate, and the color can easily become faded or a dark reddish-black. Therefore, Glazed Red porcelain with a clear and stable red color is considered an example of high technical skill.

청대 유리홍 자기는 원·명대부터 이어진 구리 붉은색 안료 기법을 계승한 것입니다. 유약 아래에 구리 성분으로 무늬를 그리고 구워 붉은색을 내는데, 발색이 매우 까다로워 색이 흐리거나 검붉게 변하기 쉽습니다. 이 때문에 붉은색이 맑고 안정적으로 나온 유리홍 자기는 높은 기술력을 보여주는 예로 평가됩니다.
