This is a celadon tea bowl with inlaid black and white crane and cloud patterns by Gicheon Park Sae-ki, a master craftsman.

The bowl is exceptionally light, crafted with thin walls for an almost weightless feel.

Park Sae-ki was a first-generation potter who primarily worked in Japan in the 1970s and was known as a "Living National Treasure." His handmade approach, prioritizing craftsmanship over mass production, makes his works highly valued among tea enthusiasts.

The bowl exhibits a subtle celadon color and beautiful crackle patterns.

The interior features a chrysanthemum pattern created using the "Bakji" technique, which involves carving away the background to reveal the design. The crane and cloud motifs are freely depicted using the black and white inlay technique.

Continuous arabesque vines are carved around the rim, and leaves are incised on the exterior.
The artist's seal, "Gicheon," is visible.

Having handled numerous celadon pieces by first-generation artists, this tea bowl is considered to be of the highest quality for its type.

기천 박세기명장의 청자 흑백상감 운학문 다완입니다.
이 다완을 들었을때 거의 무게감이 없을 정도로 기볔을 얇게 제작하였습니다.
박세기선생은 1세대 도예가로 1970년대 일본에서 주로 활동하셨으며 인간국보 인간지보로 불렸습니다.
대량 생산보다는 손맛이 살아있는 손작업 위주로 작업하기 때문에 차인들 사이에서 소장 가치가 높게 평가받습니다.
전체적으로 은은한 비색에 빙렬이 아름답습니다.
내저부 중앙 배경을 파서 무늬를 나타내는 박지기법으로 국화문을 표현하였으며 흑백상감기법으로 자유로이 노니는 운학문을 표현하였습니다.
그리고 구연부 주위에 연속 당초넝쿨문을 각하였습니다.
외연부에는 음각으로 잎사귀를 표현하였으며 奇泉 기천의 도결이 보입니다.
개인적으로 1세대 작가들의 청자작품을 많이 만져봤는데 다완으로서 이 청자는 거의 탑수준입니다.
크기는 구연부 14.5 높이 5.6의 정다완입니다.
