This is the first greatest hits album from the popular Japanese rock band GLAY, titled 'Review Best of GLAY'.

Released on October 1, 1997, this album captures GLAY's rising popularity, featuring their first Oricon #1 single 'Kuchibiru' and their first million-seller single 'HOWEVER'. It was released after only three original albums (four including independent releases).

The CD comes in a colored case. While the case shows signs of use, the rest of the components are in good condition.

The booklet is divided into lyric cards and member jacket photos, printed on special glossy paper. This collection served as a significant point of reflection for the band members, allowing them to summarize their activities, musical philosophies, personal relationships, and their connection to society.

11번째 싱글 「口唇」가 첫 오리콘 1위 획득, 12번째 싱글 「HOWEVER」가 첫 밀리언셀러를 기록하는 등, GLAY의 인기가 상승하고 있는 가운데 발매된 첫 글레이의 베스트 앨범으로, 메이저 데뷔로부터 불과 3장의 오리지날 앨범 (인디 포함 4장)을 발매한 가운데 발매되었다.
북클렛은 가사 카드와 멤버의 재킷 사진 두 장으로 나누어져 있으며 특수 광택 종이가 사용되며, 본작의 발매 시기에 여러 가지 인터뷰를 통해 “우리의 지금까지의 활동, 음악관, 인간관, 사람과의 관계성, 사회와의 거리 같은 것을 모두 정리할 수 있었다”고 TAKURO가 말했고, 이 작품의 발매는 결과적으로 좋지 않았을까라고 말했고, TERU도 “베스트반을 그 시기에 낼까 말까 고민했지만, 지금 생각하면 정답이었을지도 모른다”고 했다.
